Grinder Operator

Description

Mon-Thursday 5am to 330pm

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinding machines: Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut.
• Inspect finished products: Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance: Maintain and clean machinery before and after each shift, and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and wear necessary protective gear.
• Troubleshoot issues: Address any problems that arise during the grinding process and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in operating grinding machines or similar equipment.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and using precision measuring tools.
• Physical fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Attention to detail: Ensure all parts meet quality standards and specifications.
