We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as an Intern/Co-op Consultant/Senior Consultant working in our Toronto practice starting in Spring (May) 2025. Positions are available in the following service lines:
What you will do
Customer
The KPMG Customer Team creates best-in-class digitally enabled customer experiences (CX) as part of our clients’ wider organizational strategy. We operate across seven key service domains: CX design, growth strategy, digital advisory, e-commerce advisory, innovation, NextGen strategy, and contact centre advisory. Our projects are about understanding strategy, technology, design, and process through the lens of a digital experience. We would love to hear from individuals who are passionate about helping clients reshape their business around the customer to create a truly connected and profitable enterprise.
Operations
The Operations team at KPMG supports clients in the Financial Services sector (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Pensions), the Public Sector and the Technology, Media and Telecommunication sectors with a range of services: strategic planning, growth & omni-channel strategy, Target Operating Model (TOM) design, process improvement/redesign, cost optimization/value realization and accounting/regulatory change programs. As part of the Operations team, you will help clients perform current situation assessments/diagnostics, visioning/target state design as well as develop roadmaps and support implementation.
Healthcare Operations
The KPMG Healthcare Operations team facilitates collaboration between governmental levels and fosters public-private partnerships to drive innovation and develop intellectual capital for an integrated health ecosystem. Our services include redesigning care systems across regional health ecosystems, promoting operational excellence for improved care quality and outcomes, and supporting health workforce stability and adaptation to meet current and future needs. The Healthcare Operations team offers comprehensive support to clients in realizing strategic targets to drive lasting improvements in healthcare delivery and outcomes.
Digital Health
KPMG’s Digital Health team is a specialized sector within the global network of KPMG firms that focuses on the intersection of healthcare and technology. This team leverages digital innovation to help healthcare organizations improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and navigate the complexities of the regulatory environment. KPMG’s Digital Health team offers services such as digital strategy development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and technology implementation. The team comprises professionals with deep industry knowledge and technical expertise, who work collaboratively with clients to deliver tailored solutions that address their unique obstacles and opportunities in the digital health space.
Banking Capital Markets
KPMG’s Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) practice enables our clients in the banking, capital markets and payments industries to uncover and capitalize on new opportunities. We support a wide range of banks, credit unions, fintechs, payment providers, and other financial services organizations in their pursuit of achieving strategic targets. BCM is a collaborative team of highly seasoned specialists from diverse fields such as banking, capital markets, payments, banking technology, and finance transformation. Our clients look to us for expertise in identifying, quantifying, and delivering complex organizational change required to grow, innovate, compete, and remain resilient in an ever-evolving marketplace. To support global banking and capital markets leaders, we strive to create value through data and technology enabled change, product and operating strategy, and new business models & services.
Technology Strategy and Transformation
The TST team at KPMG advises clients on how new technology will impact their business and delivers innovative end-to-end digital transformation. We work with digital and functional leaders across industries and sectors to define their vision for digital transformation, develop tailored technology strategies, align with IT assets to be more customer centric, and create and execute implementation plans that drive business value. Please note that for Technology Strategy and Transformation, applicants should demonstrate a clear interest or have a background in technology.
People & Change
We advance our client’s business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviours. We assist our clients with strategic alignment, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformation and culture shifting. Enterprise Performance Management
The Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice works with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners. We are trusted advisors in budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics with a particular focus on implementing technology solutions to enable these processes.
Enterprise Solutions
Enterprise Solutions has many pillars such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow and workday. Our practice works to bring expertise in services covering end to end system implementations and technology transformations. We recognize that the technology landscape is rapidly changing; our practice stays ahead by embracing innovation and industry guiding solutions to transform businesses. Our team is deeply experienced in the full range of technological challenges, from complex transformations to innovative technologies and architectures.
Finance Transformation
An effective finance function needs to be aligned to the business strategy and should provide agile financial analysis and insight to support corporate decision making, while also meeting legal and regulatory requirements as a given. With a global network of proffesionals working in KPMG member firms around the world, Finance Transformation collaborates closely with CFOs and other finance leaders to help maximize the finance function’s performance and empower them to become insightful business partners. We focus on a variety of areas surrounding our “Finance of the Future” vision to drive strategy and implementation accross finance operations optimization, target operating model redesign, financial technology transformation, and regulatroy compliance transformation.
What you bring to the role
For Consultant Level:
FOR SENIOR CONSULTANT LEVEL: Senior Consultants usually join Management Consulting with significant work experience, coming from an MBA, PhD, MD, JD or other advanced degree program. Senior Consultant are expected to be able to come into the Management Consulting team and immediately make a significant impact. Those coming from undergraduate degrees or master’s degrees with less than 2 years’ work experience should consider applying for the Consultant position.
