We are therefore looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is committed to providing the highest standard of nursing support and care to both inpatient and outpatients.Applicants must have knowledge and experience in haematology and chemotherapy and possess excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary Haematology team, and therefore, must be confident in acting as the patient’s advocate to ensure the best outcomes throughout their diagnostic and treatment pathway.This post may close early due to high numbers of applications, so you are advised to apply promptly.All correspondence for this vacancy will be sent by email; please check your account regularly including your Junk and SPAM areas.A great and friendly place to work, so bring your passion, commitment and expertise and enjoy the opportunities to make a difference every day.#JoinTeamEliotMain duties of the jobWorking as part of a multi-professional team to deliver enhanced clinical practice to a specific group and participate in education, audit and application of evidence based practice within the specialty.The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive specialist support service to patients/families with a suspected or proven haematological disorder.You will act as the key worker for patients with a haematological diagnosis offering expert care, advice, support and developing holistic plans of care.Excellent communication skills are an essential skill for this position alongside the ability to act as your patients advocate and liaise with other healthcare professionals, ensuring coordination and continuity of care.Your role will be an integral part of the Haematology team, and you will be expected to contribute to educational sessions and MDT meetings on a regular basis.
