About This Job

Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a Hardware Receiver Technician. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities (working with our government and hardware teams as applicable):

  • Receipt of hardware
  • Determination of hardware destination
  • Verification of hardware against the LOM (list of materials)
  • Staging of hardware
  • Assisting in maintaining warehouse inventory levels
  • Assisting in ongoing physical inventories as well as periodic electronic inventories
  • Assisting in processing of equipment for excess and disposal
  • Assisting in conducting scheduled and random electronic inventories
  • Ensuring all government policies and procedures are followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred but not required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Education and relevant work experience for this position are as follows:

  • High School Diploma and 6+ years of related experience, or
  • BS Degree with 2+ years of experience, or
  • MS Degree with 0 years of experience

The successful applicant will be able to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, organize daily tasks with minimal supervision, and possess the following:

  • Working knowledge of various hardware platforms and software applications (Jira/Confluence)
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, various levels of management, and internal clients with various levels of computer experience
  • Commitment to deliver results and success in accomplishing goals
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn technology and understand unique system requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends when required
  • Experience picking inventory for orders received
  • Experience receiving and organizing inventory received from production facility
  • Comprehensive understanding of the supply management process with demonstrated sound judgement in order to perform professional and organizational responsibilities, implement effective supply accountability practices and measures, and provide timely and efficient support
  • Experience updating and maintaining product inventory database, with periodic reconciliation to physical count
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Clearance Requirement

The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred but not required.

  • Creating ad hoc reports and deliverables for the government clients
  • Hardware inventory and maintenance renewals
  • Maintaining warehouse inventory levels
  • Ongoing physical inventories as well as periodic electronic inventories
  • Processing computer equipment for disposal
  • CompTIA A+ certified

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $52470 – $89190

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
