| position Highlights | The Harm Reduction Outreach Specialist will work to minimize the negative consequences associated with substance use and other high-risk behaviors. They provide support, education, and resources to individuals, often in community settings, without requiring abstinence. This role focuses on meeting people “where they are” and promoting safety, health, and well-being. Drawing on lived experience and strong community ties, the harm reduction outreach specialist works collaboratively with peer support specialist and harm reduction coordinator to build rapport and providing direct services, education, and support. This is a frontline position ideal for someone who is compassionate, resourceful, and committed to reducing health disparities among marginalized communities This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position. | Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report | In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
