Head of Engineering | Product | Roadmap | Strategy | Education | Digital Transformation | Cardiff HQ – 2 days per week onsite | £83,000Method Resourcing has partnered exclusively with an incredible global organisation that is transforming technology on a global scale – and they want you to be part of it!The role: You will lead the delivery, operation, and ongoing improvement of technologies within one of their most critical product areas. This includes overseeing product support, service efficiency, change initiatives, and the creation of new solutions. The role focuses on championing modern development practices and DevOps approaches to enhance operations, speed up deployments, and bring new features to market faster, while working closely with product teams to drive innovation and value.The keys skills & experience my client are looking for:

• Strong background in overseeing large-scale programmes.
• Industry background in education, healthcare, or other regulated sectors with exposure to EdTech (desirable).
• A confident decision-maker and influencer, with excellent stakeholder and team management skills.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles, tools, and workflows.
• Skilled in Agile project management, particularly using Scrum to guide product development cycles.
• Proven senior leadership experience in product engineering within a global setting, including resource and delivery management, across multiple timezones.
• Strong background in managing cross-functional teams, working with product managers and engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams of DevOps engineers, delivery managers, and operations staff to deliver high-quality, vision-aligned products.
