The Head of International is a vital role in Incisive Health’s leadership team, responsible for the continued growth of our global business, providing expert policy insights, advice and project delivery to our international clients. Working alongside the Managing Director and the Heads of Practice for the UK and Brussels and leadership teams, you will shape the overall company strategy for Incisive Health and lead business development and marketing initiatives to expand and innovate our client offerings, showcasing the breadth of our abilities across Incisive Health and the Inizio group. Chief among your responsibilities, will be to support the learning and development of junior colleagues and create an inclusive environment that enables the team to thrive.

Who you are

This is an exciting role in high performing team that is expanding quickly in a competitive healthcare consultancy environment. The successful candidate for this role will bring:

• Inclusive people leadership skills
• Strong personal communication abilities and experience of working in large, networked organisations
• Familiarity and confidence with consultancy practices and business models
• A deep understanding of life sciences and healthcare policy and public affairs campaigning from roles in industry, consultancy or non-for-profit sector
• Expert knowledge of supply, access, and uptake issues for healthcare innovation in different health and political systems in high-, middle- and low-income countries
• Demonstrated success in leading international policy and public affairs programmes across different geographies targeting national and global health decision makers and influencers
• Extensive experience building collaborations and partnerships for policy advocacy across the world, utilising different communications and digital channels

Job responsibilities

As Head of the International Practice, you will work with a talented team of 50+ consultants across the London and Brussels offices and in collaboration with other Inizio teams, to deliver programmes with global and regional health policy teams that drive real change for better patient outcomes. You will:

• Lead the international team in growing our global business with existing and new clients
• Collaborate with partner agencies across Inizio to deliver integrated programmes e.g. in access policy and policy communications – adding value to clients and supporting growth across the group
• Provide senior advice to global clients on policy, strategy, and advocacy from your experience as a health policy leader
• Lead project teams in the delivery of expert policy intelligence and high-quality programme delivery
• Continue to evolve our approach to global policy insights and analysis
• Innovate our client offering drawing on in-house digital and creative capabilities
• Maintain a broad network of contacts, identifying opportunities for business growth and cultivating relationships with potential clients across healthcare sectors
• Support the professional development of colleagues across the business with learning and development initiatives tailored specifically to the needs of the international team
• Play a key role in Incisive Health’s senior leadership team, shaping the long-term company strategy
• Work with the London Operational Committee to guide policies and decisions impacting resourcing and team welfare in the London office where you will be based
