Together with the Service Director and Clinical Director you will work in partnership to bring medical, clinical, and operational management and leadership together, to drive high quality services with a relentless focus on patient needs, outcomes, and experience.The community directorate has a diverse portfolio of services with multiple transformation programmes, meaning that this role is not for the fainthearted! The Head of Nursing will provide clinical leadership within the directorate and wider trust as required including directoratesupport for, patient safety, clinical risk, clinical effectiveness,audit, incidents and serious incidents.As Head of Nursing Therapies and Quality, you will be responsible for working in partnership with the Service and Clinical Directors and their teams to drive the delivery of:High quality care and reducing unwarranted variation.Development of clinical pathways and service transformation underpinned evidence and informed by best practice.A workforce strategy to develop new roles, enhanced competencies, revised skill mix and ways for working to deliver sustainable and resilient services within financial and resource allocation.The post holder will play a lead role in developing a culture which encourages innovation, learning and research, at all levels, supporting and delivering the Trust’s objectives. • Relevant full Masters degree or working towards or equivalent experience
• Evidence of recent evidence based professional development in an up to date portfolio
• Exceptional proven leadership skills

• Working towards PhD or showing active engagement in research.
