Dstl Porton Down, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP4 0JQ or Dstl Portsdown West, Fareham, Hampshire, PO17 6AD

Candidates are expected to have on site attendance at Porton Down and Portsdown West for 60% or more.

Travel to other Dstl sites and some travel to various Ministry of Defence (MOD), Government and partner / supplier locations is likely to be required.

If so, Dstl could have the ideal role for you. A newly created position, your new position as the Head of Performance Reporting & Management Information will see you be accountable to the Dstl Executive and Dstl Board and Dstl Business Units for performance information, data, analysis and insight.

Your reports will be used to influence and inform leadership decisions at the highest level.

Job description

You will lead a Centre of Excellence for Dstl’s performance reporting and management information, setting reporting standards across Dstl – including leading on data visualisation, dashboards and other MI tools.

This unique opportunity requires an inspirational strategic leader, with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Person specification

To succeed you’ll have:

• Business analysis and actionable insights at Board / Executive level.
• Creating a balanced scorecard approach to performance reporting and Key Performance Indicators
• Experience of managing and delivering data-driven products in analysis, data science or similar.
