It was awarded world-leading status for History, Sociology, and Communication, Cultural and Media Studies in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021. Based predominantly on the Cambridge campus, you will provide strategic leadership and management of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences across education, research and innovation, and external engagement, promoting quality, efficiency and impact. You will play a crucial role in the development of innovative and effective partnership working in the UK and internationally. You will also lead the development of new curricula in Chelmsford and online and develop the school’s potential for further degree apprenticeships, short courses and CPD.With a PhD or professional doctorate, you will be an experienced academic leader with an excellent track record of affecting positive change. Working across our multi-campus environment, you will drive the school’s ambitions for creativity and innovation across research and promote an inclusive and rewarding environment for students, staff and partners.
