The London office of a global multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is searching for a Head of Sustainability to lead and grow a pre-existing sustainable design team within the building services industry.It’s an exciting role which will see the right individual be more hands-off with the delivery of projects but instead take a leading role in growing the profile of the business, be the face of their sustainability offering and oversee the growth of the team.You would be walking into a team of 4, made up of experienced senior/associate consultants, with the plan of growing this to 10 heads within the next 12 months. If you want, you will have the opportunity to manage your own P&L and have the chance to earn a bonus associated to any profit you make.Whilst sustainability and sustainable design will be your focus, it’s important to remember that you will be working very closely with the other disciplines in the business. Therefore, an understanding of Civils, Structures, MEP and Façade Engineering is key to excelling in this role.The right individual is someone who is wants to be get out of the office as much as possible, attend conferences and network with your industry peers. It’s someone who has the attitude to drive the growth of our client’s presence within the sustainability market which will, in turn, develop new business, bring in more projects and facilitate the growth of the team.If you are currently at the level of a Principal, Associate or Associate Director, have a background in one or more of the following specialisms within sustainability and are keen to push yourself in this type of role, please get in touch.

• Net Zero Strategies
