Are you ready to take on a management-level role in a prestigious educational charity?One of the most renowned education trusts in the UK is seeking a proactive and dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join their organisation. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage the health and safety processes in a historic setting, while working closely with the Head of Health and Safety.Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Overseeing the implementation and review of health and safety policies, ensuring compliance is met, according to safety legislation
• Working with external agencies, safety consultants, and inspection bodies as-and-when necessary
• Leading audits, investigations, and risk assessments across the school campus
• Providing expert advice to all departments and staff on health and safety matters
• Organising and delivering safety training programs to ensure a safe environment for staff, pupils, and visitors

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate / equivalent; with relevant IOSH accreditation (Diploma level is desirable)
• Proven experience in a Health and Safety role of similar setting
• Excellent communication skills and experience in delivering training.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
