RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the Health Field Officer in-charge throughout the mass treatment cycle from planning, implementation, and donation documentation.
  • Coordinates and liaise with stakeholders and field implementers for timely roll-out of activities as planned and agreed with the Health Field Officer in-charge.
  • Assists the Health Field Officer in facilitating clerical aspect of logistic requests, follow-up and distribution.
  • Consolidates reports on post-mass treatment results of each jail, after monitoring surveillance and follow-up according to schedule (7 and 30 days after intervention).
  • Collaborates with Administrative Assistant/IM Relay (for Health) on ensuring proper links to department-specific files/folders.
  • Undertake other HiD tasks within competency, as discussed with the team and approved by the supervisor.
  • Administrative support in Project Implementation during the scabies mass treatment.
  • Post mass treatment surveillance in 13 Jails, with draft report.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a Licensed Professional Nurse
  • At least 2 years’ experience, preferably in public health is an advantage but not required.
  • Above average computer skills in MS Office.
  • Very good command of spoken and written English and Tagalog
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills. And able to operate and interact in a multi-cultural workplace is essential.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to work under pressure in high stress environments.
  • Easily adapts to working with a team.
  • Demonstrates professional competence and is conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines, and achieving results.
  • Display cultural, gender religious, and age sensitivity and adaptability.
