Health Information Management Clerk

Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The HIM Clerk processes health information under the direction of the HIM Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: An individual who has a high school diploma or GED.

Experience: One year previous work-related experience including previous experience working with an electronic health record. Will consider completion of at least a one year, HIM related, educational program in lieu of experience.

Knowledge and Skills: Ability to work with numerous computer systems and basic office equipment. Basic keyboarding skills. Perform multiple tasks and work independently.

License/Certifications: None

Equipment: Computers and other general office equipment

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE

$21.00 – $29.12

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
