In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing medical records, communicating with providers about documentation deficiencies, and providing education on required documentation elements. Your insights will help identify trends and support process improvement initiatives within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze medical record documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate documentation deficiencies with providers and People Leaders.
- Provide education to providers on required documentation elements as needed.
- Identify and report trends of documentation deficiencies to People Leaders.
- Serve as a resource for medical record documentation standards, content, and design.
- Assist providers with documentation correction processes.
- Respond to department inquiries and requests for information.
- Support process improvement projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Health Information Management, required.
- At least one of the following credentials (RHIA, RHIT), strongly preferred. OR
- Two years of medical record analysis experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Federal and state documentation requirements.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines consistently in a predetermined schedule.
- Ability to exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
