Position Summary:

Maintains the medical records filing and distribution process in compliance with regulatory guidelines and requirements. Flexibility to changing environment and assists in development of new processes as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, Preferred
• One year experience in Health Information Management, Preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong office / clerical skills required.
• Working knowledge and experience with phone systems, computer, microfiche/film readers, shredders, fax machines, scanners, copy equipment and general office equipment.
• Ability to file in alphabetiocal, terminal digit, date order as needed
• Strong organizational skills and able to multitask
• Experience with medical terminology, Preferred
