Shriners Children’s is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Health Information Management (HIM) Tech in our Spokane Facility. The Health Information Management Clerk performs various HIM functions and responsibilities including processing non-electronic requests for information, issues with the DNFB/Provider Hold Report, and other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or GED, required
Associate in Health Information Management Preferred
Bachelor in Health Information Management Preferred
Experience
One year health-care experience in medical records processing operation, physician office, business office and/or customer service
Certification and Licensures
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), preferred
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through AHIMA, preferred
(Pay range for this position is $18.91/hr – $28.37/hr. The hired applicant’s placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education
