Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and being a resource for the HIM techs in the department. Coordinates specific areas of the Health Information Management Department including organizing, directing and controlling: Imaging process: Prep/Scan/QR, Deficiency Analysis, Incomplete Record Area, and Birth Registry. Monitor queues in various systems to maintain workflows, complete chart audits for various quality assurance requirements, and complete volume and productivity daily reports. Coordinate operation tasks such as equipment repair and supply ordering, and assist with various duties in the absence of the HIM Manager.
