This role offers the opportunity to drive HSE standards at a key manufacturing and assembly site in Cheltenham, becoming part of an organisation with a vast global footprint.Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager will include:

• Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and the global strategy for health, safety and environment
• Engaging across the site to drive improvements in quality, safety, health and environment
• Auditing health, safety and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
• Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• NEBOSH General certification or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues at all levels
• Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
