Job Title: Health Technician / Behavioral Health Technician / Mental Health Technician
Location with zip code: Gulf Breeze, FL 32561
Duration: School year 
Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri  8.30 AM – 4 PM  
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr. on W2.
Certification Required:

• Current CPR Certification (infant/Child/Adult/AED) and First Aid Certification.
• Complete Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification/Training.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist with and/or perform medication administration.
• Administer minor first aid.
• Perform/assist with Diabetes management.
• Complete head lice interventions (including detection, parent education, and screening for re-admission to school).
• Perform CPR/AED as needed.
• Communicate with registered nurse, school personnel or parent/Client as needed for care of student.
• Utilize community contacts for additional resources as needed.
• Perform specialized medical procedures for students after receiving child specific training as delegated by registered nurse supervisor
• Maintain a neat, clean, and proficient clinic.
• Comply with confidentiality requirements of the School Board of Santa Rosa County.
• May bill for Medicaid eligible students as per the School District’s request and per Medicaid guidelines.
• Document and generate reports of services provided in clinic according to established guidelines.
• Ensure that all clinic generated documentation and reports are completed, filed, stored, and submitted within a timely manner according to established guidelines.

Required Qualification:

• Graduation from high school or hold a GED.
• Current CPR Certification (lnfant/Child/Adult/AED) and First Aid Certification
• Complete Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification/Training
