Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Heat Treater Helper, where you will play a crucial role in the heat treat process. Your main responsibility will be to handle bolts ranging from 12 to 18 inches in length, placing them individually within metal racks to ensure proper coating during the heat treat furnace process.

Responsibilities

• Transfer screws from the manufacturing building to the heat treat building for processing.
• Place bolts individually within metal racks to ensure proper coating during heat treatment.
• Stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day to complete the tasks effectively.

Essential Skills

• experience in general production and racking.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks efficiently.
• Experience in packaging and construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proven attendance record from previous employers.

Work Environment

This role is based in a state-of-the-art Heat Treat facility where you will be standing for extended periods, specifically 12 hours during weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. You will work alongside Heat Treat operators in temperature-controlled racking rooms currently under construction. The hours for weekday shifts are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
