Long – term teachers are working with a fantastic alternative provision in Gloucester, who support students in Key stage 4 the who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school.We are seeking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to join on a full time basis, 8:30am – 4pm, term time only, up to 39 weeks a year. The role will involve PPA cover for teachers and focus on primarily on the delivery of Maths, English and Functional skills.Applicants must have extensive experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and behavioural needs. It is vital that you are confident to lead lesson and have a patient, resilient attitude to the working environment.Your key duties:

• Plan and deliver appropriate learning to support students academic and SEMH needs
• provide appropriate support to students to help them manage their behaviour
• Assist with other activities related to the supervision of students such a break/ lunch supervision, in- class support, cover

Expected salary
