Overview

  • This is a hybrid postion with onsite required Mondays – Wednesdays (Glendale) and remote Thursdays and Fridays **

Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm 

Position Summary/Purpose Statement: The HIM ROI Clerk Lead in the Release of Information (ROI) section of the Health Information Management Department performs the following: scheduling and monitoring daily work performance for assigned staff; performs a variety of ROI and medical records responsibilities following CHLA policies/procedures and in compliance with regulations and standards. Is responsible for initial and ongoing training and follow-up of assigned staff. Assists in revising & developing Policies and Procedures.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3+ years in Health Information Management with a minimum of 1 year in ROI. Strong experience with people management and conflict resolution highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus. 

Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Certificate of Completion of all CHLA ROI Education modules.

Pay Scale Information

$35,984.00-$59,082.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
