About the Role:
Join our Health Information Management team in a temporary capacity to support essential medical record functions. This entry-level role involves handling confidential patient information, prepping/scanning/indexing records, and assisting with the release of information requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process patient record requests and maintain confidentiality
- Prep, scan, and index medical records
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Typing and computer skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Preferred: Experience in a medical office or hospital setting
