We are seeking an experienced Residential Home Automation Supervisor specializing in audio/visual (AV) and security systems. This role involves overseeing field installations, ensuring compliance with company standards, and providing leadership across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in residential or commercial AV systems and proven experience managing teams in a supervisory capacity.
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform random spot checks on installations to ensure quality and adherence to standards
  • Travel to job sites to observe and verify technician performance
  • Lead and coordinate multiple teams across various job sites
  • Provide guidance and support to field technicians to maintain high-quality work
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
  • Report on project progress and address any issues promptly

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in residential or commercial AV systems
  • Proficiency with Control4 or similar home automation platforms
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, foreman, or superintendent role managing multiple teams
  • Strong understanding of AV and security system installation standards
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of AV/security installation experience
  • Leadership experience in managing multiple job sites
