Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Two years experience in monitoring systems performance, business process analysis, information systems training, or a related field are required. Additional related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Recruitment Notes

This position is responsible for registering new end users in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), creating user accounts, and providing training to users. The role includes running reports to ensure data quality and completeness, offering technical assistance to service providers with low data quality, and submitting required reports through the USHUD Data Exchange. Additionally, this position will respond to inquiries from USHUD and its technical assistance team regarding annual report requirements and generate annual progress reports for the Contract Division staff when needed. The role also involves developing assessments for system users to facilitate data collection.

The position will pull reports for weekly staff meetings of the client “By Name List” (BNL), where cases are reviewed, and strategies are developed to help individuals and families move through the Homeless Continuum of Care process toward permanent housing. Furthermore, this position will serve as back-up and provide support to the current HMIS staff as needed.
