We are hiring a Warehouse-Hose Technician in Carleton, MI

FCX Performance/Corrosion Fluid Products is an Applied Industrial Technologies Companyand a leading process-flow control company.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Assembly including assembling hose, braid, end fittings, testing of completed hose

• Visually verifies assembly compliance to specifications.

• Utilizes hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures and devices.

• Perform hose fabrication and assisting with pipe fabrication using supplied equipment and tools

• Maintain all work areas in a neat and orderly condition. Detect and report all faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations and unusual conditions to warehouse manager. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.

• Load, unload and secure loads when transporting materials on an open bed truck and/or trailer

• Perform shipping and receiving of LTL and Parcel packages daily.

• Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.

Essential Mental Functions:

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Attention to detail.

• Good communication skills.

• Excellent math and mechanical skills.

• Willing to help in other areas of department as necessary.

Essential Physical Functions/Equipment Used:

• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75lbs.

• Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for long periods of time.

• Must be able to, or possess ability to learn how to, operate large warehouse equipment; including forklift, overhead cranes, and electrical meters, and air/battery powered tools.

• Must be able to work off hours, weekends, and OT when needed based on business needs.

• Knowledge of rigging, lifting and moving heavy and awkward products.

Preferred education/experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalentrequired, Technical Certifications preferred.

• 1-3 year’s previous shop experience desired; experience with welding preferred but not required.

• Basic computer proficiency required, namely the ability to operate Microsoft Office products.

• Knowledge of required equipment, including hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, etc.

• Clean driving record.

Work Environment:

* Standard warehouse environment, equipment operation, shipping & receiving, inventory area.
