We are seeking a Part-Time Music Therapist with geriatric or previous hospice experiencefor our Washington, Ozaukee, and Dodge County territories! Work approximately 10-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment
Provide individual patients music therapy using instrumental, vocal, or recorded music with goals to reduce physical symptoms of pain, agitation, and shortness of breath
Complete documentation following each visit
Adjust care plan as needed
Participate in team meetings
Job Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an accredited institution approved by American Music Therapy Association
Must be board certified MT-BC
Licensed and insured driver with ability to travel to client homes – mileage reimbursement provided
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal relations and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Previous hospice experience preferred
