- Work face to face with citizens to identify issues and steps to prevent homelessness.
- Liaise with a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies, maintaining regular communication with their representatives.
- Promote and provide authoritative advice and assistance on homelessness prevention and a range of housing solutions.
- Advise landlords and tenants regarding their statutory rights.
Skills and requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and mediation.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
- Problem-solving abilities and strong written communication skills.
- Ability to present information in a clear, legible, and logical manner.
- Strong conciliation skills to facilitate understanding between groups with potentially conflicting objectives.
