HR Assistant in the Dalles, Oregon

Robert Half is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support a mission-driven organization in the Columbia River Gorge region. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to support a variety of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, and employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling.

  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires, including paperwork and system access.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data is accurate in HR systems.

  • Track employee evaluations, licenses, and credentialing deadlines.

  • Provide general support for benefit enrollment and updates.

  • Help manage internal training platforms and reporting.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and support day-to-day HR operations.

    Requirements

  • HR experience is not required, but highly preferred! We are considering relevant administrative experience.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with HR software ideally, and definitely Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • A can-do attitude and readiness to support a great team!
