We’re looking for an HR Support Officer to join our team. You will support the team by providing both administrative and advisory support to help enhance HR functions and our wider organisational needs.
You’ll help align HR services with our Trust’s goals: delivering outstanding patient care, promoting a positive workplace, and advancing child health.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the HR Business Partnering team, responsibilities will include:
- Be a contact for first-line HR queries, offering advice to colleagues and managers on policies and employment matters including early stage attendance management, grievance, disciplinary, flexible working and Agenda for Change terms and conditions ensuring early resolution and consistency of practice
- Provide direct administrative support to the Business Partnering team, including minute taking at employee relations meetings, collating investigations and panel packs, and diary management.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for visitors and medical colleagues joining us for work placements and honorary contracts, including completing compliance checks
- Help implement HR policies, compliance, and change, assisting in the delivery and identification of HR projects.
- Maintain digital systems and help implement improved processes

- NVQ 4 in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification
- Studying or committed to/willing to work towards CIPD level 5
Experience

- Recent experience of working in a front facing HR role
- Routine HR casework
- Some experience of complex case work
- Application of HR policies, processes and employment legislation
- Working to achievement of agreed KPIs
- Examples of working in partnership with Staff side and establishing productive and effective working relationships
