jobs-near-me.org

Introduction: To increase the participation and representation of diverse US citizen professionals in the Humanitarian shelter & Settlements (HS&S) sector, the HS&S Fellowship program provided a pathway for young U.S. professionals to launch their careers in this critical field from 2021-2024. The program was funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA) and executed by Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) with support from InterAction.

Evaluator Profile: The evaluator will be external to Habitat for Humanity and highly experienced in conducting evaluations. This evaluator will have at least 5-years of experience conducting USAID project evaluations, will be unaffiliated with Habitat for Humanity, USAID/BHA or InterAction and highly committed to transparency throughout the evaluation process.

Proposal submission Process: Please send all communications related to this RFP, including questions and vendor proposals to: hssfellowship@habitat.org
Proposals should be submitted by November 29th, 2024.

Logistics: This work is anticipated to be home-based, desktop work with flexibility in the location (remote- internationally). The Consultant should be prepared to engage in Microsoft TEAMs (or similar technology) with multiple time zones and with different staff within the US.

Consultancy Deliverables: A preliminary report of findings and recommendations will be made to key stakeholders, including Habitat for Humanity and USAID/BHA. This report will include strengths and weaknesses of the fellowship program; challenges that hindered achievement of the fellowship’s goal, lessons identified, and recommendations for future improvements. Feedback will be provided by key stakeholders.

A Final Report will subsequently be drafted for an additional round of feedback and comments before being finalized.
