Human Resources Advisor, Talent AcquisitionOne of our clients in the transportation sector is looking for a human resources advisor specializing in talent acquisition.Responsibilities:Recruitment monitoring and strategy

  • Job market surveillance: analyze market trends, especially in the maritime sector, to propose innovative recruitment methods.
  • Employer brand image: positively and respectfully represent the company’s values to job seekers during various interactions.

Company ambassador

  • Respectful treatment of candidates: ensure an equitable recruitment process that complies with laws, acting as a company ambassador.

Selection process

  • Recruitment efficiency: ensure fast and respectful selection processes to attract the best candidates.
  • Management of recruitment files: oversee recruitment for all shore-based positions, ensuring alignment with the company’s values. This process includes:
  • Defining the positions to be filled;
  • Supporting managers in opening positions;
  • Identifying recruitment methods and selection criteria;
  • Participating in the selection process.

Integration and follow-up

  • Coordination of evaluations: organize medical and psychometric tests and reference checks for candidates;
  • Compensation recommendations: formulate suggestions regarding employment conditions and negotiate with candidates;
  • Integration of new employees: assist managers in effectively welcoming new hires.

Human resources management support

  • Professional support: participate in salary surveys, equity programs, training, disciplinary management, and the development of employment-related policies.

Profile:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in human resources management or industrial relations;
  • Member of the CRIA or CRHA order (an asset);
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in recruitment and selection;
  • Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken;
  • Good relational skills and ability to create connections;
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.

Contract information:

  • Permanent position – 37.5 hours per week;
