Human Resources Generalist – Permanent – 17535About the OpportunityOur private sector client is seeking to add a HR Generalist on a permanent basis (onsite/full-time work arrangement). The HR Generalist will assume the role of general support in all aspects of the Human Resources department, including Canadian, US and global HR efforts.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist the HR Manager with confidential HR matters and special projects
• Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, coordinating with recruitment agencies, and scheduling interviews
• Prepare and distribute employee offer letters and other HR-related documents
• Update employee handbooks and related policies
• Help manage workers’ compensation claims and assist with employee relations
• Participate in HR technology projects and global HR initiatives
• Compile HR statistics and assist with monthly HR reports
• Provide backup support to other HR team members as needed

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of HR generalist experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adjust to changing demands
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and writing policies/procedures is a plus
• Valid passport (occasional travel may be required)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or CHRP designation is a plus

About the JobThis role is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary between $75,000 to $85,000 on an annual basis, along with an excellent benefits package.
