HVAC Engineer I – The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio By Hilton

The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio By Hilton is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer 1 to join their Property operations Team! The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is South Florida’s iconic beachfront destination located near Miami and Fort Lauderdale, in Hollywood, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HVAC Engineer, possess the Broward County Mechanical Journeyman and other applicable certifications, has previously worked with large chillers plant, has a great approach to teamwork and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Shift Pattern: PM shifts, 4PM – Midnight, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Pay Rate: $44.17 per hour

What will I be doing?

• Assists Engineers and trains with Engineers/trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
• Performs a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance.
• Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments.
• Performs additional office-related work (i.e. receives deliveries, runs errands for parts, etc.).
