JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Southend, looking to recruit a new Hydraulics Technician to join their team.This client is a leading MRO which have been operating for over 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles. They offer in-house component repair, overhaul and maintenance of a range of aircraft types.This is a Permanent Position based in Southend.Working Monday – Friday (08:00 – 16:30).Salary and Benefits– Generous Annual Leave– Salary Exchange Pension Scheme– Employee Assistance Programme– Life Assurance– Employee Cash Plan– Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Schemes– Professional Growth and Development– State-of-the-Art Equipment and Technology– Ongoing Training and Certification Programmes– Career Advancement OpportunitiesThe RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to carry out testing and repair and overhaul of various hydraulic aviation components in line with quality and safety requirementsOther duties involve:– Test and repair and overhaul of various hydraulic aviation components in accordance with original manufactures manuals and instructions– Ensure quality standards and procedures are observed and maintained– Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment– Prepare workshop reports and material reviews to allow the purchasing and commercial departments to create customer estimates– Aid in bringing in new capability and researching new improved ways to save with cost and turn-time.– Undertake risk assessments and ensure safety requirements are met– Understand customer needs and ensure these are met/exceeded at all timesIn order to be successful in this role the Hydraulics Technician will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Understanding of the requirements of delivering maintenance repair and overhaul of aircraft component’s with EASA Pt 1 45 regulatory requirements– A background in a hydraulic aviation environment essential with previous experience in a similar role preferred– Used of both Skydrol and hydraulic oil Rigs– Good understanding of MS Office and business systems and procedures– Ability to interoperate manuals and record inspection findings– Right to live and work in the UKIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
