Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) projects across the Greater Toronto Area. With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are seeking a dynamic ICI Construction Project Manager who can oversee project execution while contributing to business development initiatives focusing on retail, medical and dental offices, restaurants etc.Job Summary
The ICI Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a key role in business development, identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management

• Lead and manage ICI construction projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure project success.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues proactively.

Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the ICI sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing bids, proposals, and presentations for new projects.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for market expansion.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the ICI construction sector.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and project scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in business development, client relations, or sales within the construction industry is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent.
• PMP or Gold Seal Certification is an asset but not required.
