JOB DESCRIPTION

ICMPD”s Silk Routes Regional Office implements an array of projects in Iraq, ranging from:
1. Supporting information dissemination and awareness raising among potential, outgoing, and returning migrants and returnees in Iraq, to promote informed decision-making.
2. Pursuing to strengthen whole-of-government/whole-of-society and capacity building partnerships with governmental stakeholders to contribute to improved migration governance, including through training, technical and infrastructure support.
3. Supporting an expanded role and partnerships with Iraq”s private sector to enhance outreach to returnees and their referral to reintegration services.
Team Structure: The Project Management Assistant would be based out of ICMPD Office in Baghdad and would work closely with the overall Iraq and Vienna HQ based project implementation teams, under the overall supervision of the Head of Office Iraq
​Mandatory Languages: Arabic Fluency
Supplementary Languages: Proficiency in Kurdish (Sorani) is considered an asset​.
