Overview of position

CTG is looking for candidates whose experience match the below TOR.

Role objectives

• Ensuring efficient operation of IT infrastructure.

• Installing, configuring & maintaining storage appliances from HPE, CISCO & Dell to ensure efficient data storage & retrieval.

• Upgrading the client / server system infrastructure according to corporate guidelines & recommendations to enhance performance & security.

• Planning & implementing Microsoft cloud based services such as Azure Active Directory, Office 365 & Teams for efficient collaboration & data management.

• Building, maintaining, provisioning, securing & optimizing servers using AWS / Microsoft Azure cloud technology to improve scalability & reliability.

• Managing patches using Microsoft SCCM & ensuring virus scanning & protection using Microsoft E5 & Symantec Endpoint Protection to maintain system security.

• Applying recommendations from the information security & compliance team to mitigate system vulnerabilities & ensure compliance.

• Installing, configuring & administering Active Directory, GPO, DNS & DHCP for efficient network management.

• Provisioning servers as per user requirements & providing post deployment support to ensure user satisfaction.

• Providing technical documentation, procedures, reports, SOPs, standards & technical evaluations to maintain a comprehensive record of the IT infrastructure.

• Planning & scheduling upgrades to critical services to minimize disruption & ensure continuous operations.

• Administering & supporting Microsoft, UN corporate & other third party applications to meet user needs.

• Participating in & supporting DRBC, DRX exercises & providing inputs to ensure business continuity.

• Supporting backup solutions & data replication via data domain to ensure data integrity & availability.

Project reporting

This role reports to the project manager.

Key competencies

• High school diploma with 5 years’ experience installing, Microsoft certification(advanced level) is required.

• Microsoft certification (advanced level).

• VMware certification(advanced level).

• VMware certification(advanced level).

• Fluency in English (oral & written) is required & knowledge of French is desirable.

This role has not team management responsibility
