A major global brand in the manufacturing and technology sphere is seeking to add a Legal Counsel to the team, to work on a wide range of legal matters for this complex international business. It is an organisation driven by innovation, and the lawyers are at the forefront of legal and commercial decisions helping drive the company Joining an established legal team, you would work fairly autonomously on diverse legal issues, collaborating with senior stakeholders from across the business divisions, with the ability to make a real difference The day to day work might include complex and high value commercial agreements for the supply of goods and services, varied terms and conditions, bespoke contracts, outsourcing contracts, logistics, or partnership agreements. You’d also work with other lawyers, both across the business and external counsel, on a wide range of specialist areas such as energy, environmental, financial regulations, data protection, intellectual property, cyber security and so on. It is anticipated you’ll probably need at least 4 years pqe to have gained the experience to be successful in the role, and as well as your technical skills, you’ll to be a strong communicator and able to balance customer expectations and commercial demands against any legal and regulatory risk.
