As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs who require some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model! You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom. This is a full time, long-term post, starting ASAP.** This is an ideal position for a Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor amongst others. **What will I gain from this Inclusion Support Assistant role?

• A full year’s experience working with children with complex needs
• A competitive daily rate – £83-£100 per day
• CPD opportunities including the opportunity for Salaried Teacher Training after one full academic year
• Working alongside likeminded individuals and receiving the best support and guidance from Specialist staff

Inclusion Support Assistant – Job role:

• Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom
• Encourage the development of the students’ social skills
• Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
• Support and comply with the school’s safeguarding procedures
• Full-time, long term position starting ASAP
• Located in Thurrock

Inclusion Support Assistant – Candidate Specification:

• A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
• Genuine interest working with SEN
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
• Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
• Calm and compassionate nature
