Job Description

1st Shift: 5:30am-3:00pm, 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm, 3rd Shift: 9:00pm-5:30am.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all industrial equipment within the facility. This includes overseeing conveyor lines that process green beans and bell peppers. The role involves assisting the maintenance manager with the installation of preventive maintenance (PM) systems throughout the facility. The primary goal is to ensure production machinery, particularly conveyor systems, operates with minimal downtime.

• Perform repairs and maintenance on all industrial equipment.
• Assist the maintenance manager with the installation of preventive maintenance systems.
• Ensure conveyor systems operate smoothly with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, focusing on an 80-20 split between electrical and mechanical tasks.
• Conduct electrical maintenance up to 480 volts.
• Repair 3-phase motors.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
• experience in repairing conveyor systems.
• Strong experience in electrical work, including handling up to 480 volts.
• Experience with fixing 3-phase motors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fabrication skills.

Work Environment

2nd Shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and 3rd Shift from 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. Initially, technicians may need to work 10-12 hour days until fully staffed. During the busy season, expect a 55-60 hour work week, especially around Thanksgiving. The plant is maintained at 40 degrees, so employees are advised to dress warmly with coats and gloves. After one month, company uniforms will be provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 – $62400.00/yr.
