Overview:English message will followLe Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau. Responsibilities:STATUT: Temps complet permanent (37.5h / semaine)SUPÉRIEUR IMMÉDIAT: Adjointe au DSI-DSH – Volet infirmierDÉBUT DE LA FONCTION: Dès que possibleSOMMAIRE DE FONCTIONS:La personne titulaire du poste planifie, supervise et coordonne les activités nursing du CLSC dans l’ensemble des programmes : suivi infantile, périnatalité, vaccination, ITSS, santé scolaire, maintien à domicile, soins courants, etc. Elle sera également appelée à faire de la garde d’urgence sur rotation. Elle agira comme personne-ressource auprès de ses collègues pour la planification, la distribution et l’évaluation des soins infirmiers. Elle collaborera à la conception, l’implantation, l’évaluation et la révision de la programmation nursing d’un service et d’outils cliniques et d’évaluation de la qualité des soins ainsi qu’à l’orientation, l’identification des besoins de formation et l’évaluation du rendement du personnel. Lorsque requis, elle exercera les fonctions habituelles d’infirmière.FORMATION ACADÉMIQUE REQUISE:Ce poste est accessible aux personnes détentrices d’un BAC ou d’un DEC en autant que les candidat-e-s obtiennent une note de 60/85 de la grille d’évaluation qui sera complétée lors de l’entrevue. Qualifications:

• Membre en règle de l’O.I.I.Q.;

• Doit obligatoirement avoir réussi sa formation en Rôle Élargi;

• Minimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience comme infirmier-ère en rôle élargi dans un CLSC;

• Leadership positif ;

• Grand sens des responsabilités et de l’organisation;

• Bilinguisme essentiel français-anglais, parlé et écrit et inuktitut est un atout;

• Capacité de travailler en équipe multidisciplinaire et à développer de bonnes relations interpersonnelles;

• Expérience en urgence et ou en santé communautaire est un atout;

• Donner la formation aux employés allochtones et autochtones désignés.

Serving seven Inuit communities with an equal number of CLSC, a center for the elderly and the hospital in Kuujjuaq, it employs approximately 1,000 employees: administrators, professionals, doctors, dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, support staff, etc.Nunavik communities are located north of the 55th parallel where a subarctic climate prevails. It implies the existence of permafrost allowing no agriculture. Nunavik is the largest region covering about a third of the total area of Quebec. No road link exists between the communities of Nunavik and southern Quebec, and between Nunavik communities themselves. We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.STATUS: Full time position (37.5h / week)IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant to the DSI-DSH – Nursing servicesSTARTING DATE: As soon as possibleSOMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:The person holding the position will plan, supervise and coordinate nursing activities of the CLSC in all programs. She will share with the nursing team, the “on call” emergency duty. She will act as a resource person for her colleagues in the planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. She will work on the design, implementation, evaluation and revision of the nursing planning of the service and its clinical assessment tools and the quality of care as well as orientation, identification of training needs and evaluation of staff performance. When required, she will exercise the usual functions of a Nurse.REQUIRED ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:This position is accessible to all individuals with a BAC or a DEC as long as the candidates obtain a note of 60/85 in the evaluation grill that will be completed during the interview.REQUIREMENTS:Active member of O.I.I.Q;Must have successfully completed training in Enlarged Role;Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a nurse in an expanded role in CLSC;Positive leadership;Great sense of responsibility and organization;Bilingualism French/English (spoken and written) is essential and knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and developing good interpersonal relationship;Experience in an Emergency Department and/or Community Health is an asset;Provide training to designated employees Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal.SALARY: Min: 1062.38$ Max: 1,983.00$ / weekISOLATION PREMIUM: 240.25$ / week, or as per the family statusHIGH COST LIVING PREMIUM: 112.78$ / week or as per the family statusRETENTION PREMIUM: 419.85$ / weekAn person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called upon to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per her/his status.
