Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGEMENT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will provide Information Management (IM) expertise and oversight for the utilization of information systems, software applications, and computer hardware. You will coordinate and manage the IM and Knowledge Management (KM) approach and methods for the department. You will lead and facilitate the participation of division representatives in defining the department’s own best practices. You will act as the department representative to other DoD agencies for IM matters. You will coordinate IM education and training for staff as appropriate. You will manage information, files, and file structure. You will provide oversight and assistance to KM requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in Operational information systems, processes, tools; management oversight, and analytical skills to identify / validate the Knowledge Management requirement. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in in Operational information systems, processes, tools; management oversight, and analytical skills to identify / validate the Knowledge Management requirement.
