Project Overview:

Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel’s India offices. The positions on the project will start as assignment in Navi Mumbai, Dahej or Nagothane.

Job Summary:

The Information Data Analyst role is part of the Project Information Management Team and with engineering and related disciplines to design algorithms to evaluate the Quality, Completeness, and Consistency of project data in accordance with requirements of internal project functions and client handover. The analyst will help with monitoring and reporting progress, investigating and helping in resolving data quality issues.

Major Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain workflows to produce Client Handover Data templates

• Help implement an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) with data security to meet confidentiality requirement of the Project

• Maintains database and ETL data from Engineer design tools, procurement systems, construction as well as data templates from EPCMs and Vendors

• Perform data analysis on Engineering data for consistency and completeness. Develop data management Key Point Indicator (KPI) reports

• Extracts data from authoring SmartPlant Engineering applications for Data Management reporting

• Help Develop algorithm to check engineering data before publishing to Asset Digital Twin

• Execute project data information management reports

• Support specific client information management deliverables.

• Ensure that appropriate change management procedures are implemented and enforced

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledgeable in data quality, data integration data governance and master data management

• Experience and or understanding of data modeling

• Familiarity with Hexagon SmartPlant Suite SP3D, SPPID, SPI, SPEL and Bechtel’s EPC applications data such as Setroute, BCSTools, TeamWorks, DSCS & Aconex.

• Hands on experience in data extraction process from Non SmartPlant engineering application like Setroute, BSCTools, TeamWorks, DSCS & Aconex is a plus

• Scripting skills (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.)

• Software development experience in .NET, Java, C++ or similar is a plus

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power BI, SSRS

• Familiar with Database Design / Administration and SQL programming for Oracle / SQL Server

• Scheduled tasks / batch jobs /Extract Transform Load (ETL) process management

• Strong MS Excel Skills / Excel and csv output & load to Oracle / SQL Server

• Construction domain experience, including data management.

• Knowledge of Construction application like TeamWorks, SmartCompletions is a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities

• Experience in multiple Bechtel Global Business units is a plus
