Job Description:
Information Management and reporting
- Design/develop, test, maintain, support and improve the database and database management systems in coordination with the Field Operations team and in accordance with the reporting requirements (internal and external)
- In coordination with the Field Operations team, develop appropriate templates for data collection and beneficiary records and create the needed summaries for data analysis and reporting requirements.
- In coordination with the Field Operations team, develop the relevant project and program MoVs in compliance with the project/donor requirements.
- Ensure that the database and tools are continually updated and improved.
- Manage data systems according to internal protocols and strategy development.
- Export and clean program online data, before sharing it with the Field Operations team.
- Develop the pre/post tools, maintain cleaning of data and do the reporting on the relevant platform when needed.
- Monitor compliance with and the effectiveness of the information security, data protection principles policies and standards.
- Produce summaries, dashboards and graphical reports.
- Deal with beneficiaries’ information in strict confidentiality and according to the data protection policies in place
- Coordinate with the MEAL team for spot checks on MoVs and indicators’ reportin
Ensure Continuous Networking and Capacity Building
- Train the team on how to use and maintain the tools developed.
- Provide continuous technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field staff when needed.
- Attend related IM and sectoral trainings and capacity building Workshops.
- Attend and participate actively in IM working group meetings and share relevant information with the IM and program teams.
- Attend and participate in capacity building trainings locally and internationally.
Perform other duties as required
- Attend start-up and close-up workshop.
- Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events.
- Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture.
- Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
- Provide support in various IT-related tasks.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in managing organizational data for various projects.
- Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Expertise in SQL is required.
- Proficiency in PowerBi is a plus.
- Experience with online databases and GIS applications is a plus
- Ability to consolidate information into visual presentations (factsheets, charts, graphs, tables)
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Valid driving license (in Lebanon) for more than 2 years is required
- Knowledge in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector and related activities is a plus.
- Experience with NGOs is advantageous.
