About the Position: This position is located in the U.S Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Plans & Operations Division located at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Responsibilities Provides management oversight, advice, planning, and funding coordination of all automation and communication requirements for the organization. Serves as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) cardholder for the purchase of IT supplies and equipment as required. Responsible for planning, developing, configuring, maintaining, and providing support to employees concerning computer automation, copiers, telephone services, printing services and all information management disciplines. Serve as the organization’s Records Manager or the Records Coordinator for Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Serves as Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) monitoring all users to ensure the organization remains in compliance with Installation Information Assurance (IA) requirements. Monitor all common user Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) baseline service delivery and support provided by the NEC. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as 1) providing assistant oversight on coordination of all automation and communication requirements for the organization; 2) serving as Government Purchase Card (GPC) cardholder for the purchase of IT supplies and equipment; 3) monitoring all users to ensure the organization remains in compliance with Installation Information Assurance (IA) requirements; and 4) ensuring the implementation of appropriate record keeping procedures that comply with Army regulations and guidelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR, Education Substitution: Successful completion of at least a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Management or Information Management, etc. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR, Combination of Experience and Education Substitution: If you have some, but not all, of the experience or education described above, you may still qualify by combining the amount of creditable experience and education that you possess.
