Information Systems Manager in Pyeongtaek, South Korea

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Information Systems Manager. This position will be located in USAG Humphreys, Republic of Korea and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing a broad base of technical employees in design, implementation, and system integration of complex systems solutions. Effectively completes detailed project plans, schedules, functional flows and specifications, standard operating procedures and quality assurance plans by identifying tasks, deliverables, assignments, controls, and contingency plans. Requires a broad base of technical knowledge and demonstrated organizational and leadership skills. May also act as team subject matter expert.

• Practical experience in information systems, Mission Command systems, Local Area Network, and orCyber Security/Computer Network Defense administration.

• Develops policy recommendations and provides technical guidance on the management of Army,joint, intergovernmental, interagency, and multinational information systems and services.

• Delegates tasks to, organizes, mentors and motivates a team of Information Systems professionals and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.

• Manages the training of personnel,planning, installation, administration, management, maintenance, operation, integration, servicing, securing and troubleshooting of information systems and services.

• Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience:

• 12 yrs of experience, with 3 yaers experience working in South Korea

• BA/BSin information technology or related discipline

• Certifications: DoDM 8140.03 IAT Level II / IAM Level I or IASAE Level I

• Secret Clearance

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $165,000.00 – USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
