This is highly responsible, administrative, and supervisory work that involves directing all Geographic Information Systems (GIS) activities in the employing jurisdiction.

CITY OF MOBILE $71,516 – $114,329
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree, from a recognized college or university in geography, geographic information systems, or computer science, preferably supplemented by certification as a Geographic Information System Professional (GISP), and a minimum of five years’ responsible experience in Geographic Information Systems administration and project management in a Geographic Information Systems or information technology department; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Special Requirement
May be required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
