THE POSITION

TheState of Connecticut{target=”blank”}s Office of Policy and Management (OPM{target=”blank”}) is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Information Technology Manager (Information Technology Manager 1{target=”blank”}) within theOffice of Finance{target=”blank”}.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong analytical background, strong project management skills, the ability to maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders, and the capacity to multi-task and navigate changing circumstances.

  • Be responsible for managing the financial and budget portfolio of Information Technology (IT) project investments as part of the Information Technology Capital Investment Program.
  • Be responsible for ensuring information technology investments, spending and activities that address strategic priorities.
  • Manage a Business Intelligence (BI) portfolio of projects as part of the Statewide Analytical Reporting System (STARS) team.
  • Work with departments and agencies to analyze and document data reporting needs.
  • Foster collaboration through the development of statewide technology policies.
  • Assist in data architecture and administration activities.
